SUP Salmon Classic National Race

Events include an 8-mile Long Course for professional level racers, a 4-mile Short Course for recreational boarders and a 2-mile youth and novice course just for fun.
The races are gender equal and sanctioned by the World Paddle Association (WPA) as a National Race.
Food booths, vendor booths and entertainment will be on hand from 10:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free for spectators.
The SUP Salmon Classic National Race is hosted by the City of Washougal, Washington, located along the Columbia River, west of Hood River Oregon and just minutes from Portland.
The races will take place on the calm waters along Cottonwood Beach at Captain Clark Park. The site offers a large, convenient beach for the each race start and finish. The long, open public beach will provide excellent viewing for spectators with a large grassy area for entertainment, vendor booths and concessions.
